Lewisville Western Days: Black Joe Lewis

Black Joe Lewis will take the Republic Services Main Stage at Lewisville Western Days on Saturday, September 28.

Lewisville Western Days takes place Friday, Sept. 27, 4-11:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28, Noon -11:30 p.m.

Admission is FREE before 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. However, beginning at 6 p.m. on both nights, admission is $15 for everyone except children under 12, who are always free.

Black Joe Lewis is an American blues, funk and soul artist influenced by Howlin’ Wolf and James Brown. He formed Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears in Austin, Texas, in 2007. In March 2009, Esquire listed Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears as one of the “Ten Bands Set to Break Out at 2009’s SXSW Festival.”
